Our client is looking for Software Engineer that will provide and own a competitive in-house team Developer Platform – think Thoughtworks “Platform as a Product” or Team Topologies “Platform engineering team".
The role is based in Oeiras with reference to the Copenhagen office.
responsabilidades chave
Curation of internal services and public cloud services to maximize value and adoptionEnd-to-end build/run ownership of all platform capabilities
Accelerate GitOps, Everything as Code, Cloud First and API First patterns
Influence, design, build and run bets within CI/CD, Microservice Cloud Ready/Native architecture, API Gateway, Active Metadata, Data Pipeline orchestration, etc.
Maximize Developer Experience, “shift left” and other platform goals
Mature product capabilities from collaboration and experimentation to self-service
Enable more members of the team by growing their skills
competências
Some technical skills we are looking for (you dont need to know all of these; we can teach you or learn together)You have good skills in operating systems administration in UNIX/Linux environments
Good knowledge of computer networks fundamentals and common protocols like TCP, IP, HTTP, TLS, SSH
Knowledge of using and manage cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP or others.
Have good knowledge of container and container orchestration platforms: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/Fargate
Good knowledge of a modern Infrastructure-as-Code tool: Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, CDK, etc.
Good knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc
Good programming skills in a modern fully featured programming language like Python, C#, Java, Go or others
Corporate language is English, so you should have a good proficiency in written and oral English.
