Founded in 2021, the Airbus Global Business Services (AGBS) unit will be contributing to Airbus’ global success and play a vital role in Airbus’ transformation journey in standardisation, harmonisation, digitalisation and automation of end-to-end processes (e.g. Procure to Pay) of all overhead functions.

- Airbus is becoming more and more international with activities all over the globe and in the meantime facing increased constraints such as the on-going trade war, Brexit, increased international footprint.
- The Airbus Customs department has to face challenges to ensure customs duties optimization and secure smooth supply chain in line with Airbus' activities.
- This position newly created will be part of a new department mixing IT Specialists and Business Relationship Managers. Your mission is to support this cross-functional team and to support the technical and functional roll-out of new tools to support the Business Customs teams. As a focal point, your activity will require liaising with different Stakeholders through an internal network of existing Customs Experts.
- You will:
- Be integrated into a cross-functional team able to support requests of customs needs from various countries through an internal network of existing customs experts;
- Act as a close partner to the Customs business in transformation and improvement projects and as a support to the IT department in solution definition and validation;
- Work closely with the Customs Business representatives to reach an end-to-end digital data management. Additionally, you will, through different activities, collaborate with all departments impacted by Customs processes such as Transport-Logistic, Manufacturing, Programs, Finances, and Procurement;
- Be in charge of ensuring application services for Customs applications.
competências
- University Degree in Logistics (preferable);
- Starting at 2 years relevant experience in Customs and/or Logistics projects, including IT integration;
- Experience with SAP SD/MM on Logistic processes Inbound/Outbound/Master data/Inventory and IT;
- Knowledge on Customs processes and IT Customs tools (SAP GTS Global Trade Services -considered a plus)
- The position requires willingness to learn about customs understanding, according to functional and technical SAP aspects;
- Ability to work on project mode - full project life-cycle activities: from concept definition until entry into service;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English.
