Kelly IT Resources is currently hiring an IT Senior Network Engineer for Lisbon and our client is a global medical products and technologies' company focused on therapies for the management of chronic conditions, with leading market positions in advanced wound care, ostomy care, continence, and critical care, and infusion devices. As part of our client's continued development, they are building an IT competency center in Lisbon, and require technically qualified, adaptable and ambitious IT professionals to support their mission to improve lives across the world.

Position: IT Specialist – Senior Network Engineer 
Reports to:  Head of Networks and Security Operations
Role Summary: Provide a ‘last line of defense’ to existing offshore ServiceDesk and 1st/2nd level support technicians. Provide technical and process guidance to other members of the team, as well as interface with other IT business units, company Stakeholders, and Head of Network, lead to ensuring the team is focused on the appropriate objectives. Supporting a diverse user population across 50+ countries, covering office locations, manufacturing sites, and remote users. Ability to manage small projects works independently as well as operating as part of a larger international team for more complex projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Major Incident/Problem/Change assessment and resolution;
• Monitoring of performance-related issues using real-time monitoring software;
• Supporting development and project teams in a DevOps environment;
• Installation, configuration, upgrading software, and related products;
• Enhancing automation, scripting, non-functional testing within the platform area;
• Design, planning and engineering for small project works;
• Fully document systems including DR procedures, recovery procedures, build procedures, call out logs, decision logs, maintenance procedures and fix knowledge base;
• Identify opportunities for improvement in services and create appropriate utilities to manage the environment;
• Work in virtual teams including Project Managers, Technical Towers, Service Delivery, and 3rd Parties to define project deliverables, agree on timescales, and implement through the change process.

o Cisco Routers 2800-ISR4300;
• Data Centre Network;
o Firewall Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Fortinet;
o Load Balancing F5 Big IP 2000 LTM GTM;
o Bluecoat / Zscaler Proxy;
• Network Routing / Switching Protocols OSPF, BGP, STP & HSRP;
• Network Authentication (Cisco ACS/ISE, Radius, Windows 2016);
• Network Management Tools (HP NNM / SolarWinds / Logic Monitor);

Desirable Skills Preferred

• Cisco CCNA, CCNP level certification;
• Checkpoint CCSA, CCSE;
• Azure/AWS Certifications;
• SDWAN, SDN Architecture;
• Data center Core Network ACI, NSX;
• Public & Private Cloud AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute;
• Security Products IDS, IPS, WAF, Skybox, Tufin, Firemon, DDOS Mitigation;
• Automation and Scripting Python, Ansible;
• Understanding IP Telephony/IPT Network Management including Cisco Call manger, CUCM, and Configuring Cisco IP telephony applications;
• Professional experience, documenting, planning and managing platforms through their life cycle;
• Some knowledge of VMware & Hyper-V;
• Some knowledge of collaboration tools such as Office 365, Skype for Business and Teams;
• Familiarity with Backup solutions, strategies, and restoring data.
