Randstad Professionals is the business line of Randstad Group focused on Middle&Top Management Recruitment.Our Client is the leader insurance Group that is now hiring a Senior Investment Accounting Technician.
This person will join the Investment Accouting Area which is responsible for ensuring the correct recognition of financial investments, real estate and the reporting of financial information to shareholders and supervisory entities.

Prepare of the Individual and Consolidated Financial Statements, according to the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in Portugal and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS 9 with Overlay Approach);Prepare of Individual and Consolidated Financial and Statistical Reports for Headquarter, for ASF, for Bank of Portugal and for Other Accounting Department’s Stakeholder;
Prepare the Annual Report and Management Report;
Prepare and deliver the necessary information/data to Internal and External Auditors;
Analyze the External and Internal Audit Reports and follow up the implementation of the recommendations presented;
Analyze management indicators related to investments and real estate;
Analyze and disclose the legal and regulatory rules of accounting incidence, promoting its application;
Parameterization and maintenance of the interfaces between the investment system and the accounting system, and to monitor the integration and reconciliation of data;
Parameterization and maintenance of real estate operations in the accounting system, including acquisitions, sales, transfers and valuation;
Analysis of real estate operations in the light of the accounting policies such as IAS 16 and IAS 40;
To promote the development, implementation and maintenance of information systems that may suitably support the financial processes;
Organize, extrapolate, and disseminate data across IT systems to be used for reporting;
Prepare the SPPI test and calculate the Expected Credit Losses according to IFRS 9 accounting requirements;
Analyze Bloomberg data extraction.
competências
Degree qualification in Economic/Administrative/Accounting area or equivalent;Experience in financial investments and real estate (accounting and reporting) in a multinational environment, preferably acquired in Big 4 auditing firm (3-4 years);
Knowledge of finance, accounting, and cost control principles (including IFRS /Generally Accepted Accounting Principles);
Advanced knowledge in Excel and office tools;
VBA or PowerQuery knowledge is a plus;
Knowledge of SAP Finance and Binfólio;
Proficiency in English;
Spanish would be a plus;
Independent, systematic and quality oriented way of working;
Effective business writing and professional communication skills;
Good analytical skills;

Excellent accuracy and attention to detail to produce high quality output;
