Overall Job Purpose
 
This position offers you the opportunity to work alongside one of our high profile clients who specialise in internet based searching and video sharing platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced and dynamic team environment whilst gaining excellent experience in a variety of training disciplines. This is a hands-on role, ensuring the continued integration of the Training Specialist function within the organisation.
 

Duties and Responsibilities
 
  • Deliver training programs including induction, systems, desktop training etc. (approx. 70% productivity time: this task covers Induction Trainings, Pillar Specific Trainings [Product Process Trainings], Soft Skills Trainings, Refresher Trainings etc.)
  • Learn additional product specific trainings and be back-up person for another trainer
  • Coordinate training events: close co-operation with the Training TL and operations to set up date/time, book room, order hardware if necessary, request PC access if necessary, send out calendar invitations
  • Submit final report / weekly report on training completion after each training week / end of the training
  • Submit task (productivity) tracker following guidelines on time
  • On time completion of all action items agreed during team meeting, if any.
  • Ensures company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards
  • Preparation time for product training delivery should take no longer than 4 weeks for first run, down to 1 day (depends on the training length) - 1 shadowing session and self-study time
  • Ability to deliver assigned module(s) without shadowing, if needed
  • Complete assigned courses on lynda.com (personal objectives)
  • Other Ad hoc duties, if any.
  • Manage training calendar (all of the trainings should be booked in the correct calendar)
  • Deliver training using a variety of methods to include classroom learning, computer-aided training (if possible), training manuals etc.
  • Work with Training Specialists and TL/Manager to ensure training is delivered to the highest quality and efficiency
  • Attend to all training administration reports etc.
  • Evaluate training courses and materials to seek improvements if needed 
 
Required Qualifications, Experience

 
  • 1-2 years’ experience as a trainer
  • Relevant training qualification would be preferable
  • Experience in mentoring coaching or quality in any capacity
  • Proven track record in the Financial Operations arena
  • Applies principles of adult learning in the design and delivery of group training at all levels
  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality and seamless training excellence.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of up-to- date and innovative training techniques
  • Manage own time and ensure that training is timely and effective
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to influence at all levels
