As an Integration Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for developing thenext generation Air Traffic Management system. You will have many opportunities to
contribute in:
Configuring and deploying software and hardware in laboratory or production
environments;
Designing and configuring networks and switches in laboratory or production environments, including network security equipment (firewall configuration);
Deploying Operating Systems (Linux/Windows) on servers, workstations and virtual
machines;
Customizing and troubleshooting application software and Operating Systems in order to match security requirements and to optimize software needs (e.g. OS hardening);
Producing documentation describing in detail the system integration plans and activities, including network and cabling diagrams.
competências
University Degree in Computer Science or similar areas (preferable);Experience in hardware server architecture;
Experience with networks (routing, switching & firewalling, layers, most common protocols used in switching and routing in order to provide redundancy, interconnection of networks, WAN, LAN, security basics);
Experience with Operating Systems: Linux (RedHat, CentOS) / Windows (architecture, scripting, administration);
Experience in Virtualization (VMware concepts, installation, administration, scripting);
Ability and willingness to travel;
Knowledge of programming languages: C language basics; Shell and Perl languages (preferable);
Knowledge of Cisco equipment (preferable);
Fluency in English.
