Randstad Professionals is specialized in the recruitment of middle and senior positions.Our client is a company and is looking for a Backend Developer for Lisbon. The company has a unique combination of science, technology and industry in the energy sector, focused on creating new products and services for the downstream of the energy value chain.
responsabilidades chave
- Write efficient and optimized codes libraries
- Build new scalable micro-service applications
- Maintain existing web applications
- Build secure REST API endpoints
- Perform code unit testing, system troubleshooting and debugging
- Deploy application and manage production environment
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and improve applications with excellent usability
- Work in an agile cross-functional team with other team members for brainstorming, troubleshooting, and process improvement
- Mentor other team members through pair programming, code reviews, and ad-hoc assistance
competências
- Focus on measuring and achieving positive impact on end-users, customers and the planet
- Conversant and up to date with emerging backend and other web technologies
- Desire to work in a respectful, transparent, and collaborative work environment
- Fluent written and spoken English
- You build it, you run it mindset
- 3+ years hands-on experience with building web applications using Python
- 2+ years hands-on experience with Django framework
- Core knowledge and experience with REST API frameworks
- Good knowledge and experience with writing multi-core and multi-threading applications
- Good knowledge and experience with message brokers, RabbitMQ and/or Reddis
- Good knowledge and experience with writing Python unit test
- Experience with Memcached
- Knowledge of Flask framework is an added advantage
- Experience with Linux server administration, application deployment and production environment management is an added advantage
- Knowledge in Data Science is a plus
