The Assistant Accountant will work from the Portuguese office in Caldas da Rainha.This is a very operational, hands-on role with the following accountabilities:
? Record purchase and sales invoices on a timely basis. ? Process bank statements with help specific software ? Prepare intermediate and end off year closings as well as cash-flow reports ? Assist in ensuring accurate and valid supplier bank detail records are kept up-to-date. ? Periodic assistance in the vendor account reconciliations and vendor/customer balance reconciliations.
Competences & Skills
Experience & Education
? Bachelor or Master degree obtained. Degree in Account ing and/or accreditat ion as Cert if ied
Accountant (OCC) is considered a plus.
? By preference minimum 2 years of relevant experience in account ing.
? Computer user knowledge and knowledge of at least one account ing software package are
required.
? Fluent English spoken and written is a must.
? French is considered a plus.
