Randstad Professional is recruiting for a client that acts in automotive industry sector and wants to reinforce its structure with a IT – Expert Linux (m/f).

competências

  • The main requirements are the following:

    - University degree in IT;
    - Min. 2/3 Years experience as a Linux expert prefareably in a large organizations;
    - Ability to manage projects, work on own initiative and as part of the team;
    - Competencies or special know-how in:
    - Good understanding of IT Infrastructure core services (AD, Networking, Security);
    - Excellent knowledge of Linux OS Distributions (preffered: Debian (Ubuntu) and/or Redhat)
    integrated in MS AD, setting up OS & SW from scratch for automated installation;
    - Good knowledge of Linux Scripting e.g. Shell, Python;
    - Experience in user selfservice & automation, i.e. Ansible, Chef, Puppet would be benificial;
    - Server repositories management: creation/update, test and segregation (YUM, APT);
    - Creation of new software packages (e.g. RPM/DEB) according to Faurecia specifications and
    requirements;
    - Experience with Desktop Management Solutions (i.e. Ivanti, MS SCCM);
    - Good troubleshooting and communication skills;
    - Additional working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Windows Client Operating
    Systems would be benificial;
    - Extensive background in endpoint technologies (Hardware & Software) would be benificial;
    - Proficiency in English language: oral and written;
    - Ability to communicate and work in an international and in a multicultural environment.

responsabilidades

This role includes the following tasks:

- Provide L3 support and define standards in Client and Desktop Management System (DTMS) environment;
- Work together closely with other central and local teams in developing and delivering IT endpoint solutions;
- Client OS and software applications deployment automation and fine tuning;
- Review, testing and validation of Client Hardware;
- Review, testing and validation of Software Applications and Packages;
- Drive or participate in the study phase and evolution of new technologies and systems;
- Ensure standards and best practices are understood and followed in this domain;
- Create and maintain documentation and provide L3 support;
- Perform training for local and central IT operations teams;
- Participate and contribute to projects of other IT departments.
