A2F Consulting is a boutique consulting company and offers management advisory services and IT solutions, as well as data analytics to the financial and other sectors in emerging markets. We are looking for an Oracle PL/ SQL Apex Analyst and Developer to expand our IT team initially in Frankfurt am Main/Germany.The company is considering opening an office in Southern Spain within the next 12 months. A relocation to the new Spanish office could be considered if desired by the successful applicant.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
- Maintaining and managing existing Oracle Apex platform
- Writing PL/SQ script for automation, data loading and validation
- Extracting data from different data resources, including EDI files, Jason files, and database.
- PL/SQL and SQL coding, tuning and troubleshooting
- Maintaining and managing Oracle databases
- Oracle APEX workspace admin, page and web services development
- Web services development using ORDS and Oracle APEX
- Performing system analysis and system development tasks
- Analyzing functional business applications and transforming them into detailed system design documents
- Preparing detailed specifications from which applications will be written as well as designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting those applications
- Preparing required documentation
Required Qualifications:
- An advanced degree in Computer Sciences or Computer Engineering, such as an MSIS, MSIT or equivalent degree from an accredited university
- At least 2-3 years of work experience in ICT, preferably in the financial sector
- At least 2-3 years Oracle Apex application engineering and development
- At least 2-3 years of professional PL/ SQL application and report programming experience, database development experience using packages, procedures, pipeline functions, materialized views, bulk collection, etc.
- Ability to interpret requirements into design and code to construct a web application
- SQL Navigator, Toad, SQL Developer or SQL+
- Experience utilizing Oracle databases
- PL/SQL report development using Jasper Reports or other similar BI tools.
- Web based application development background including Javascript, JQuery, JSON, CSS, HTML.
- Must be responsive to inquiries and have good communication skills including the ability to lead demonstrations of development efforts to clients
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Ability to work in a team
